About Me

“I am imperfect and vulnerable but I am also brave and worthy of love and belonging” Brene Brown

Kelly O’Neil RMT

I was raised in the Kootenays and I continue to fall in love with this area every passing year. Family, friends and community connections have supported and shaped me into who I am. I am grateful to now be raising my own family in this amazing area.

Like most kootenay folks I gravitated towards outdoor activity and adventure in my youth. I get inspired to try new activities that move my body in different ways to achieve physical and mental health. Recently I have fallen in love with dance. I feel blessed that we have such a powerful dance community in Nelson. My daughter continues to be my inspiration for learning new things and getting out of my comfort zone. Being at home in my garden is my sanctuary. Adventuring in the mountains feeds my soul. Spending time with family, friends and community fills my heart.

It is my belief that everyone can achieve a physical state of dynamic balance and fluid integration which provides ease of movement in everyday activities. I enjoy facilitating clients to accomplish their goals with this intention in mind.

My Style:

I practice craniosacral, myofascial and visceral techniques to accomplish client goals. My pressure can be deep or superficial depending on the tissues being treated. I will usually suggest types of treatments that people may have not experienced before such as; intra oral for temporomandibular health, pelvic floor treatment, iliopsoas release, uterus and bladder treatment, pectoral fascia and subscapularis release. These are all very sensitive areas and involve explicit consent and detailed communication. Learn more about visceral manipulation and craniosacral under my “Expertise” tab.
